Gertrude Davis celebrates 100th birthday

A celebration for Gertrude Davis’ 100th birthday was held Sunday, Jan. 15 in the dining room of the Pioneer Home with about 40 relatives and friends present. The party was given by her three daughters; Mrs. Dwight Green, Fergus Falls; Florence Davis, Seal Beach, Calif.; and Mrs. Milton Minge, Pelican Rapids.
Mrs. Davis was born in Morristown and came to Fergus Falls as a bride in 1898. She has lived all her life in Fergus Falls. She has been a resident of the Pioneer Home a little over two years.
