After receiving her B.S. degree she taught two terms in the Oak Ridge Highschool at Oak Ridge , Cape Giradeau, MO and two years at the Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Benton, MO

Mary was a member of both the Green City and Jefferson Baptist Churches where she took an active part until breaking her hip. She was also a member of the World War 1 Auxilary. She is survived by two step-daughters Mrs Gordon Green and Mrs William Balding of California and seven grand-children. Parents: Clement ANDERSON and Laura ELDER.
